An army brat to British parents in Kingston, Ont. Lived in Europe and Asia before settling in Vancouver.
Emerged: In his late teens, when he replaced singer Nick Gilder in Vancouver glam-rock band Sweeney Todd. Recordings include a high-pitched and now hard-to-find single, If Wishes Were Horses, which was reissued in Europe in 1992. Joined: Drummer and songwriter Jim Vallance in a creative partnership in 1977.
Signed: With Vancouver rock management powerhouse Bruce Allen in 1979. A record deal with A&M followed. Legend has it that Adams dogged Allen for months. The manager gave in, and would later marvel in The Edmonton Sun: "He always said he would be the biggest act I ever had. And he is."
His albums were a great hit amoungst the early 1990's like "So far so good" which included hit tracks like "summer of 69", "straight from my heart", and the motion picture hit from the film "RobinHood" - Everything I do, I do it for you". Also his acoustic version of his album "best of me" hit the charts for quite so long. Like for his most of his albums, his tracks were also included in most of the OST "have you ever loved a women".
He had toured almost the world over, maddening the crowd like never before
