Don Williams

Don Williams was born in 1939 in Floydada, Texas. His father used to fix cars, while mother teached young Don to play guitar.

Many few country singers have gained what Don Williams ever cherishes, With a voice as hard as blowing wind and as sweet or soft as water flowing through the medows.

Don WilliamsDon WilliamsA born song writer and a guitarist with hit titles like "Listen to the radio" of "Good ole boys", "My best friend" ....The list never stops when it comes to an artist like Don. We really get the exact flavour of Nashvillie, the real old fashion country rock N roll.

In the early seventies. Texas folk - rock singer and song writer Don Williams arrived in country music ground, Nashvillie; One of America's biggest stars at that time, Williams was unusually adept at blending the best of many trends and making the blend of his own.

While Don shared many of the Outlaws' musical concerts, he stayed away from the rowdier celebrations of excess. He perhaps, insisted on retailing the rugged. Don's musical settings were tatefully simple and honest.

Eventually the classic "Amenda", produced by Allen Reynolds for JMI, most fully summarises Don;s strenghts as a real performer, Don Williams, for sure endows the typically old fashioned country romantism with the same modesty and honesty.
