KesariBai KerkarKesarbai Kerkar, comes from a small village in Goa. She started khyal singing with Ramkrishnabuva Vaze, Bhaskarbuva Bakhale.

The founder of the Jaipur Atrauli gharana, Ustad Alladiya Khan has been seduced by her voice as she was singing close to his house, he quickly started a very torrid relationship with his new pupil.
